I was trying to create a logo from only Text items in the past and don't think I could export or SnapShot anything with transparent background (completely invisible, to use it in other layouts). The logos at the bottom, in the image above, are supposed to be semi-transparent, and the purple text at the top was created in the Text Editor with a faded dropshadow around it. I was trying to save a SnapShot of the compiled material (text, logos, background image) but when I take a PNG snapshot, any transparent effects (items with lower opacity, shadow for the created text, etc) become solid black and aren't showing through the materials 'underneath' them (on the higher tracks in the timeline).
